First time outside

Yesterday the sun was warm in Jonsbyn a little bit to warm for Teusa and her puppies. The puppies were not satisfied and they were crying all the time until we took them and Teusa outside to the lawn. After having checked out a small piece of the lawn they all crept close to Teusa and fell asleep in the shadow.

Spira and Birks' puppies are born

On the 2/7 Spira gave birth to seven sweet and healthy puppies. It is two females and five males. Below you can se photos of the three days old puppies. If you are interested to buy a puppy contact us there are still some puppies available.

Teusa puppies are born

On the 20/6-13 Teusa gave birth to six healthy puppies, four females and two males. There are two female puppies left for reservation so please contact us if you are interested. The puppies will be ready to deliver on the 17:th of August. Below are some photos an a short movie.

Successful show for Bielkersmils puppies

Yippi!

CONGRATULATIONS to Linn, Lotta and Lars who went to a show in Österbybruk yesterday. They brought Bielkersmils Hero of Ergo (Hero), Bielkersmils Ejla of Pepper (Lexie) and Bielkersmils Fiery Etna of Nallo (Leika).
Both dogs, and people are inexperienced in the show ring but took despite this the grand slam. Hero was second best male with CK, Lexie became BOS with CACIB and CC and Leika which was out of coat was unplaced.

I'm so proud of you, you did really good!

Next weekend Teusa will come to the kennel in order settle in and to prepare for giving birth.
Nallo and Delta was mated  on the 21/5 and I hope that Delta will deliver healthy puppies around the 23/7. If you are interested in buying a puppy you are welcome to contact us.

Happy birtday to all the puppies from G-litter who became one year old yesterday and to all puppies from E-litter who celebrate their third birthday today!

Polardistance 160km 2013

He did it again
At 10 o'clock on Wednesday morning Håkan and eight of our dogs left Särna to go 160km sledging.After having gone 75km they arrived at the first checkpoint, Djursvallen at 16.24. The dogs were very fit so Håkan just passed through the checkpoint without any stop. The next stage was 41km and next checkpoint was Lövåsvallen were the team arrived at 20.21. Here the team had to stay untli 20.59 to even the time.

At 20.59 the team left heading for the finish having 44km left to go, and early this morning at 02.05 they finished as winners of Polardistance 160 nome style B class 4-8 dogs. This was the second time that Håkan and our dogs won the Polardistance but last time he went only with four dog,s 300km and by ski, nordic style.
